ORLANDO, Fla. – Today, Senator Rick Scott met with members of the Venezuelan and Puerto Rican communities in Doral and Orlando to discuss the Senator’s plans to fight for the Venezuelan and Puerto Rican communities in the Senate.

Last week, Senator Scott urged the President to explore all options to force Maduro to step aside, including paying Venezuela's military and security forces who are prepared to aid in the restoration of democracy and a full ban on the sale of Venezuelan oil.

Senator Scott also proposed an amendment to the Republican leadership’s government funding bill to provide an additional $600 million in disaster recovery funding for Puerto Rico. See his floor speech on the amendment HERE.
