TAMPA, Fla. – Today, Senator Rick Scott met with Florida Base Commanders at MacDill Air Force Base in Tampa to learn firsthand what they need to better support military members and their families. Senator Scott regularly met with base commanders throughout his eight years as Governor, and worked every day to make Florida the most military and veteran friendly state in the nation.

As a Senator and member of the Armed Services committee, Senator Scott will continue to do everything he can to support military members, veterans and their families. Senator Scott plans to hold regular meetings with leaders from all 20 Florida military bases.
