WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, at the Senate Armed Services Committee hearing on Defense Secretary Nominee Mark Esper, Senator Rick Scott asked how well the United States forces are prepared to deter enemies across the globe. Senator Scott also asked Defense Secretary Nominee Esper what more the United States military can do to force Maduro to step aside and bring a new day of freedom to the people of Venezuela.
