WASHINGTON, D.C. – In case you missed it, Senator Rick Scott just returned from a trip to Hong Kong, where he met with business leaders and pro-democracy figures to discuss the ongoing unrest in Hong Kong and the United States’ commitment to those fighting for freedom and democracy.

Senator Scott also met with government leaders, including Chief Executive Carrie Lam, to discuss the path forward for Hong Kong amid China’s growing threat. Senator Scott is committed to standing strong against China, and won’t stop fighting until America’s economic and political future is secure from the threat of Chinese influence.
