Sen. Rick Scott Issues Weekly Update on Biden’s Inflation Crisis

WASHINGTON, D.C. – This week, without any Republican support, Democrats voted to raise the debt ceiling to nearly $29 TRILLION while not taking any action to care for Social Security and Medicare. That means Democrats added $480 BILLION to the national debt simply to further fund their radical agenda for just 46 days until December 3, 2021. Senator Scott has been clear that he will not vote to raise the debt ceiling and allow for more reckless government spending that will further fuel Biden’s raging inflation crisis. Senator Scott continues to urge his colleagues to pass his Federal Debt Emergency Control Act and Full Faith and Credit Act. His legislation will rein in Washington’s reckless spending and force Congress to be accountable to American taxpayers and get its house in order.
