WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Rick Scott joined Senator Ted Cruz and his colleagues to discuss President Biden’s failed policies of amnesty and open borders that have fueled a massive humanitarian and national security crisis on the United States’ southern border. Senator Scott continues to demand that President Biden reverse his disastrous policies, inform law enforcement and local governments of where his administration is sending illegal immigrants within the United States and secure the southern border. Under President Biden’s watch, more than 1.2 million migrants have illegally crossed the border this year. Last week, news reports showed the Biden administration is preparing for upwards of 400,000 illegal border crossings in October.
