WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Rick Scott released the following statement asking when President Biden will keep his promise to visit the border as the crisis caused by his policies of open borders and amnesty intensifies. Last month, in response to calls by Senator Scott during his visit to the border in Arizona with Governor Doug Ducey, President Biden committed to visit the Southern border.

Senator Rick Scott said, “A month ago, after I called on President Biden to visit the Southern border and see the crisis he’s created, he committed to make the trip. Well, where is he? Biden said Vice President Harris would lead the White House response to the border crisis but she hasn’t shown up either.

“While Biden ignores this horrific humanitarian and national security crisis that he has created, Americans are taking notice of the consequences of his failed policies of open borders and amnesty. How can Biden deliver an Address to Congress next week and talk about this when he hasn’t even seen the border yet? We won’t let Biden’s promise go. Keep your word, Mr. President. Stop with the games and visit the border NOW.”
