WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Rick Scott joined House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy and several of his colleagues at American Conservative Union’s Cuba Libre Rally to stand with the brave freedom fighters in Cuba and demand action from the Biden administration. 

Senator Rick Scott said, “The United States stands with the heroic freedom fighters across Cuba denouncing communism and saying ENOUGH to the brutal Castro Regime. The oppression must end now. President Biden’s time to review Cuba policy is over. Appeasement is over. Where is Joe Biden? Biden needs to immediately shut down the illegitimate Cuban Embassy and expel all regime thugs disguised as diplomats. Biden needs to implement all technology to facilitate the free flow of information to and from the island. He needs to show up. I’m proud to stand with the brave people of Cuba and won’t stop fighting until we see a new day of freedom for Cuba.”
