WASHINGTON, D.C.—Today, during a hearing in the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, Senator Rick Scott blasted Biden administration officials on their continued appeasement of the illegitimate communist Cuban regime and President Biden’s silence on the oppression and unjust imprisonment of democracy activists in Cuba. During Senator Scott’s questioning, officials from Joe Biden’s Department of State refused to rule out easing sanctions on the illegitimate communist Cuban regime or removing it from the State Sponsors of Terrorism List.
