IN CASE YOU MISSED IT… Senator Rick Scott Named One of the Most Effective Lawmakers in Congress

WASHINGTON, D.C. – In case you missed it, Senator Rick Scott was recently recognized by the Center for Effective Lawmaking (CEL) as one of the top-10 most effective Republican Senators for the 118th Congress, and one of the most effective first-term Senators in the Senate. The CEL review is based on the legislation introduced by each member of Congress, the substance of each bill and how far the bill made it through the legislative process. Senator Scott was sworn into his second term this January and is quickly building on his successful fight to make Washington Work for American families. Senator Rick Scott said, “I made a promise to the families in my state that I will fight hard every day to make Washington work better for them, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve been able to accomplish so far. In the release of its ranking, the Center for Effective Lawmaking said of Senator Scott, “Our analysis found that Senator Scott ranked as one of the most effective Republican Senators in the last Congress, as well as one of the most effective freshmen in the entire Senate. We congratulate the Senator for his hard work and setting an example for promoting the importance of effective lawmaking.”
