JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Today, Senator Rick Scott held a press conference on hurricane preparedness in Jacksonville ahead of the start of the 2019 Hurricane Season on June 1^st. Senator Scott joined Congressman John Rutherford, Jacksonville Mayor Lenny Curry, local officials and representatives from the Small Business Administration and the Department of Housing and Urban Development to share resources and tools available to Floridians ahead of storm season. Senator Scott also visited Pensacola, Orlando and Miami this week and will be in Tampa this afternoon to promote hurricane preparedness.
