VIDEO RELEASE Sen. Rick Scott’s Request For Inflation Crisis Information Blocked by Democrats: What Are They Hiding?
April 28, 2021
WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Senator Rick Scott asked the full Senate for consent to pass his resolution with Senators Mike Braun and Mike Lee, calling on the Biden Administration to share with the Senate all of its notes, memos and reports regarding their discussions and plans to mitigate and prevent growing inflation. New polling shows that 87% of Americans are concerned about the rising costs of household items, like diapers, gas and groceries, yet, as reported by the New York Times, the Biden Administration continues to mislead the American public and ignore the threat of inflation even as it worries about it privately.
Democrats blocked this common-sense transparency measure, keeping Americans in the dark about what is happening with the economy.
